"Actually this is another item that requires you to become exalted with the Elwynn Chicken faction. As has been said before, this will first require talking to the rare spawn chicken in felwood. He only spawns about once a week and he is hostile. However you can talk to him if you bring a hunter to tame him. Once El Pollo Grande is friendly, he sends you on a quest to collect squishy basilisk eyes. Once you complete the quest he gives you a Elwynn Chicken Comission, which permits you to collect Cowstones whenever you Kill an Elwynn Cow. Each Cow has a 12% chance to drop a lesser Cowstone, and it takes 10 Lesser Cowstones to make a Greater Cowstone. (Just right click on a stack once you have ten and it will automatically convert to a greater cowstone)
It takes approximately 3200 Greater Cowstones to become exalted with the Elwynn Chickens. When you finally achieve this, you will be given a timed quest in which you must solo a variation on the Divino-Matic quest in 15 minutes or less. After completing that you have to 5 man Lucifron with no healers. Once you finish that, you return to El Pollo Grande and he has a 50% chance to give you this ring as a quest reward. There is also a 50% chance that he will give you a 19 pound catfish to equip in your offhand. IF you get a catfish, your Elwynn Chicken faction will be reset to neutral and you will have to try all this again.
While you are doing this, El Pollo will be in felwood killing Timbermaws. You must have friends helping him kill Timbermaws and keeping him alive until you finish all your faction grinding. If he dies between the time you first talk to him and the time you come to him for your reward, your will automatically instantly become "Hated" by all gnome and goblin factions, so GG if you were an engineer. Luckily if this happens you can talk to Highlord Bolvar if you are alliance or Nathanos Blightcaller if you are horde (dont ask me why) and he will allow you to switch from 300 engineering to 300 Dragonscale leatherworking.
Once you equip this ring you become friendly with the firelords (aka everything in molten core). I just tested it out, and as it turns out each one of the bosses in molten core gives you a buff when you talk to them, sortof like the guards in a tribute run. For example, Gehennas gives +300 to all resists for 2 hours, Golemagg triples all your stats for 2 hours, and Ragnaros turns you into a Shaman for 2 hours.
FInally, due to the extreme power of this ring, you can't wear it for more than 15 minutes at a time or else it burns the skin on your finger. This can be counteracted by constantly switching the ring from one ring slot to the other. If you don't do this at least once every 15 minutes the ring will become angered and will permanently remove stat point from itself and replace it with 1 point of worthless Spirit. If you neglect the right too long, it may even run away."
I tried this, it was bugged and whenever I tried to make one greater cowstone from ten lesser, it didnt delete the 10 lessers, so I just made 3200 greater cowstones and boom, I finished the rest with some difficulty, but I got the ring. The problem that occured was that my power fuse went out, and it kept my toon in the game, so when I was able to log back, 2 days later, logged in and...grats I am the Druid with 494 spirit unbuffed and 0 to all other stats. My inervate wtfpwns now, but my manapool is small as hell. GG
